Erasmus + Edu-larp to IT Project launched

Progetto n. 2023-2-IT01-KA210-VET-000180963

Edu-larp to IT – Educational Live Action Role-Playing (Edu-larp) Project in Italy and Turkey, presented in partnership with Associazione Studio L&P from Italy and BAŞ-Arı Training, Support, Technique and Aid Foundation, was accepted by the Italian National Agency and was entitled to be funded by the EU Erasmus + Programme.
The project aims to equip disadvantaged young people (NEETs) in the 18-25 age group, who are neither in education nor employment, in both countries, especially women, with the necessary social skills to enter the labour market and to enable young people to learn from each other and get to know different cultures.
The project aims to introduce the Edu-larp (Educational Live Action Role Playing) learning method, in which young people take on different roles specific to the business world and experience them live, into the vocational and technical education system through the design and development of Turkish and Italian trainers. Through this innovative learning method, young people will be able to experience themselves in the business world, gain self-confidence and understand their potential and interests.
In the 19-month project, a total of 12 young people, 6 from Sardinia, Italy and 6 from Ankara, Turkey, will receive training in social skills, business organisation, marketing, basic commercial skills, digital skills and management skills. The training will take place both online and face-to-face in Sardinia and Ankara. In addition, the young people will experience a real business environment by co-designing a game called “Me and Enterprise” for their business ideas and playing their unique roles in this game.
Italian and Turkish trainers will also be trained in educational methodology, the Edu-larp method, working with multicultural groups, effective communication and active participation techniques in education, problem solving and similar topics. The user guide to be developed for the Edu-larp learning method will be made available to educational institutions and organisations in both countries.
