Edu-larp in Italy and Türkiye

Edu-larp in Sardinia: Agency Tramas

Here is the theme of the Edu-larp in Sardinia: a travel agency that must solve the problems of a group of Turkish tourists as quickly as possible.

The leader of the foreign group is called Nisanur, a young graduate in Tourism Marketing from the University of Ankara. Nisanur is on her first job and is a little inexperienced. At Rome Fiumicino airport, she realises that she has not confirmed the tour to Sant’Antioco with the Italian travel agency. Panicking, she decides to contact her Italian friend, Gabriella Casu, to ask for help. Her Italian friend is the owner of a new travel agency in Cagliari that focuses on slow tourism, walking and cycling. Nisanur describes the emergency situation she finds herself in and entrusts her with the task of supporting them during their journey to discover Sant’Antioco. This is how the Tramas Edu-larp begins.

The young people had to rely on their own ability to solve problems and find solutions. Each had a specific role and had to achieve personal and professional goals related to their function in the new Tramas travel agency. Among the objectives were choosing a logo, marketing methods (creating a website and/or activating social media channels for promotion) and other activities necessary and consistent with the business purpose.

The chefs of Ankara

On June 24-25, 2025, Turkish and Italian youth came together in Ankara as part of the “Edu-larp to IT – Educational Larp (Live Action Role-Playing) Project to Italy Turkey.” Over the course of two days, 12 young people showcased their talents in a cooking competition based on a scenario prepared by project trainers.

The theme of the competition was “Mediterranean Touches from Young Chefs.” Participants set to work designing a fusion menu combining Turkish and Italian cuisines. The young people went shopping to purchase the ingredients for the menu and then prepared their dishes in the kitchen of a vocational and technical education school in Ankara.

The prepared dishes were evaluated by a jury consisting of Turkish and Italian youth. The young participants demonstrated their social skills, such as communication, negotiation, collaboration, teamwork, problem-solving, and adaptability, throughout the event.

Additionally, they had the opportunity to apply the theoretical knowledge they gained through the training they received during the project in a real-world business environment.

The event also served as a beautiful example of young people from different cultures working together to achieve a common goal. While creating an educational and enjoyable learning environment through the Educational Larp method, Turkish and Italian youth combined their cultural richness through food.
