‘Edu-larp to IT’ Project Dissemination and Final Event Held in Ankara

The Dissemination and Final Event of the ‘Edu-larp to IT’ Project, carried out under the European Union Erasmus+ Programme, was held in Ankara on 28 July 2025.

The opening speech of the meeting was delivered by BAŞ -Arı Foundation President Aişe Akpınar, emphasised that the project, carried out in partnership between the BAŞ-Arı Foundation from Turkey and Associazione Studio L&P from Italy, aimed to equip young people aged 18-25 who are neither in education nor employment (NEET) with social skills to support their participation in the labour market. Akpınar also noted that this effective learning method is planned to be used in future projects by the BAŞ-Arı Foundation.

Over the course of the 19-month project, the innovative Edu-larp (Educational Live Active Role-Playing) model, which encourages active participation among young people, was implemented. Participants took part in the learning process by acting out pre-determined scenarios and had the opportunity to develop themselves in a cross-cultural interaction environment.

At the meeting, the project team and trainers presented the general objectives and main outcomes of the project, the activities carried out, and the pedagogical foundations and implementation stages of the Edu-larp method in detail. Additionally, the experiences of the participating young people in the Edu-larp games were shared.

The meeting served as an important platform not only for evaluating and disseminating the project’s outcomes but also for introducing the Edu-larp method and integrating it into future projects.
